Elmire Florimond (68 yrs) is a friend of the Mbappé family. She lives in the apartment below the Mbappé family's former home and first met Kylian Mbappe's mother when she was pregnant with Kylian in 1998. When Mbappé was a child he used to play football upstairs which she could hear through the ceiling. She remembers Kylian fondly. Elmire has lived in No 4, Allée des Lilas, the modest apartment building which was home to football superstar Kylian Mbappé for 29 years. The apartment block is a stone's throw from Leo Lagrange Stadium, home of AS Bondy football club where Mbappe's father Wilfred was a football coach.
• 13 July 2006 - New Orleans - Louisiana. Christian Volunteers. Group Workcamps Foundation (GWF). Carrolton United Methodist Church. Groups of around 100 Christian affiliated church kids of predominantly high school age come from all across the USA to the city for a 5 day week where they put in an average of 2,080 hours of community service as they volunteer to gut, clean and rebuild houses for residents in Katrina ravaged parts of New Orleans. The kids and their carers live in an old church Uptown where they sleep in segregated dormitories and all pitch in in a communal atmosphere. Kids celebrate the end of their week together with impromptu 'acting' of biblical stories on the last night of their trip.
GWF, formed in 1976, based in Loveland, Colorado organises religious missions volunteering in disaster recovery at no charge to residents. The city would not be rebuilt without their help. They are a Godsend to those they help and are greatly appreciated for all that they do for those they help.

Post 9/11 World Trade Center attack.
Andy Lines of London's Daily Mirror inside a firetruck on his way to file the story following his exclusive interview with Mike Kehoe from his firehouse on East 2nd Street in the East village early in the morning of Sept 14th.
Mike's image had been published the day before on front pages around the world. It is the iconic image of him ascending the stairs of the World Trade Center as he helped to evacuate people from the terrorist attacks of 9/11. It was assumed Mike had perished when the buildings collapsed. However Mike had miraculously managed to escape the buildings moments before they collapsed. 6 members of his crew were not so fortunate. Mike became a symbol of heroism to many following the vicious Al Queda attacks which claimed over 2,000 victims at the WTC site. Andy's story was published exclusively on the Front Page of the Daily Mirror on 15th Sept, 2001.
The German newspaper Bild picks up the National Enquirer story.
The loose translation 'Swordfish pierced beautiful fisherwoman - silicone boobs save her life.'
A great tabloid tale - the incredible story of Denise LeBlanc who was skewered by a fish. Her life was saved by her breast implant after the Marlin thrust from the water and speared her from her shoulder, through her breast implant and out through her back off the coast of Panama. Doctors claimed the silicone implants not only helped deflect the Marlin's spear from her heart, but the silicone also plugged a hole in her chest cavity which would have flooded had her implants been saline.
At home with Helen Wilson, a survivor of the Bataclan nightclub massacre of November 13th 2015 which claimed the lives of 90 people inside the club, 130 in total with co-ordinated attacks across Paris. Helen, an American living in Paris went to see the music of American rock band Eagles of Death Metal at the Bataclan nightclub with her former British boyfriend Nick Alexander. Soon after the shooting started, a Frenchman near where they were lying on the floor taking cover started shouting obscenities at the attackers. Helen describes how 2 terrorists came over to the area near where Helen and Nick were lying on the floor. One of the attackers raised his kalashnikov and opened fire. Nick was shot in the stomach and Helen was shot twice, once in each thigh. Helen raised her hands and begged the shooter to stop, which she says he did, then he calmly walked away. Nick's injuries however proved to be fatal and he died in her arms before police could rescue them. Nick Alexander was the only British victim of the horrific attacks. Helen miraculously survived despite losing 4 pints of blood and was saved by paramedics after police stormed the building. Helen's story is one of unimaginable tragedy, of strength, courage under fire, resilience and survival. Helen still receives counselling and physical therapy to help cope with the continuing aftermath of the attack. She is an inspiration to many she talks to as she speaks to other trauma survivors and disaffected youth.
At home with Helen Wilson (56 yrs), a survivor of the Bataclan nightclub massacre of November 13th 2015 which claimed the lives of 90 people inside the club, 130 in total with co-ordinated attacks across Paris. Helen holds a photograph of her former boyfriend Nick Alexander, the only British citizen killed in the attacks.

The one year anniversary of hurricane Katrina. Brian Williams, NBC news anchor of the 'Nightly News' preps for his 5.00pm live slot from the flood ravaged area. (6.00pm east coast). Williams has been a staunch supporter of New Orleans and has been a great vocal critic of the slow pace of reform and has heavily criticised both federal and local government ineptitude. Many New Orleanians support Williams and his continued efforts to highlight the vast array of problems still facing the community and applaud him for his efforts to maintain the city as a 'newsworthy' story.
