She enters the history books and Guinness Book of records as the youngest woman to ever circumnavigate the globe. Zara started her journey to circumnavigate the globe on 18 August 2021, returning to the same airfield 20 January 2022. <br />
<br />
Zara visited 41 countries and covered 28,000 nm (32,222 miles/51,856km) in 155 days to break 2 world records.<br />
<br />
Zara is the daughter of professional English pilot Sam Rutherford and Belgian pilot Beatrice de Smet. Zara started flying aged 14 years old and gained her pilots license in 2020.<br />
