Following the devastation of hurricane Katrina, in May 2006 FEMA funded the “Hurricane Alicia” full-Scale exercise drill designed to better prepare cities for the inevitable onslaught of future hurricanes. Contractors from Response Force 1 test emergency communications equipment.
