Roadside memorials.

29 May 2014. New Orleans, Louisiana.
The forlorn street corner at Eads and N Rocheblave Streets. A 17 year old male was shot and killed May 26th near this corner. There is no memorial marker for where the slain teenager fell. Less than a block away there is roadside memorial for a dog at the corner of N. Rocheblave and Franklin Ave. The dog killed was knocked down and killed in the street 2 weeks earlier. Memorial for a dog - not for a teenager........go figure.
