Tet, or Tet Nguyen Dan, Vietnamese Lunar New Year. Year of the Dog celebrations amongst the Vietnamese community of East Orleans. Gamblers exchange cash and smiles playing a dice game amidst furious scenes in a mini Vietnamese 'casino' where proceeds allegedly go to the church to aid in the rebuilding of the area and the creation of an elderly retirement home in the community.
