Braithwaite, Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, USA. .Stephanie Gelvin surveys the total destruction of her family home and all their possessions on her first return visit since evacuation before Hurricane Isaac carried a 16ft storm surge through her neighbourhood. The family moved as many items as they could to the second floor thinking they would be secure should the house flood.
