On the 7th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina,
Hurricane Isaac swept ashore.
Emergency evacuations. Women, children and babies are evacuated by the Louisiana National Guard. Hurricane Isaac batters the community of Braithwaite in Plaquemines Parish where residents were evacuated following the overtopping of a levee. The water gushed in, inundating peoples houses on the 7th year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
