28th August, 2005. The day before the storm, Katrina eve, New Orleans, Louisiana. Thousands of people seek shelter inside the New Orleans Saints' Superdome the 'shelter of last resort.' People at first waited outside until the first feeder bands arrived and started dropping rain. At which point people were brought inside to be searched for weapons, drugs and alcohol before being processed. The elderly were bussed in from nursing homes and were dumped in holding areas just off the field. The authorities attempted to prevent the media gaining access to the inside of the Superdome - for obvious reasons!
