'Katrina 366.' September 2006.
The exhibition prepares to go on display at the Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans.
'Katrina 366' is the culmination of a year and a day photographing hurricane Katrina. The project started the day before the storm hit and takes in the devastating effects of the storm and her aftermath, culminating on the one year anniversary. The project is not a 'photograph a day,' it is the sum total of 366 days spent photographing events related to hurricane Katrina from the devastation of the storm to the struggle to rebuild and rise from the debris.
May we never forget the estimated 1,833 victims of the storm. Thank you.
