Before the shooting begins. A coalition of 27 social aid and pleasure clubs join forces for a second line parade with the Rebirth Brass band reclaiming the streets of New Orleans. This was the first second line to return to New Orleans following hurricane Katrina. Tragically the parade ended with a shooting, the first such shooting to return to the streets of New Orleans since the storm.
