01 Sept, 2005. Hurricane Katrina. The mass evacuation of New Orleans begins. People collapse in the heat as massed crowds await their call to busses taking them out of the Superdome and away from New Orleans to destinations unknown. Nervous State Troopers and National Guardsmen hold back 20,000 people before as many as possible are evacuated. Foreign tourists wait it out at the Hyatt Hotel for busses arranged by various embassies to get them out.
