Following hurricane Katrina, Brad Pitt, Hollywood actor and inspiration behind the 'Make it Right' Foundation has been instrumental in the redevelopment of a handful of blocks in the hardest hit Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. Together with world renowned architects, Brad Pitt has overseen the construction of ecologically friendly, sustainable housing for residents wishing to return to the stricken neighborhood.
