17 images24th November 2010. New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Not amusing any more. 'Closed for storm.' Six Flags amusement park radiates an eerie post apocalyptic sense of foreboding in it's abandonment. The park was destroyed by hurricane Katrina , stripped by copper thieves and is slowly being reclaimed by the land it stands on. It is slated for demolition in January 20111 following a lease dispute between the City and Six Flags. The old rollercoater looms large in the early morning mist.
