With crime beginning to pick up as people return to the city following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina, 300 Louisiana National Guardsmen returned to New Orleans to supplement local police and provide increased cover and back up in parts of the city that remain derelict and thinly populated since the devastating floods. MP's attend a scene with NOPD where a distraught lady suspects that her father might have passed away from a heart attack a few days earlier. An MP helps the lady to her car as the fire department prepares to break down the door.
