April 22nd, 2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. Voting day. Voters for the 9th ward turn out at one of the polling warehouses set up in the city. Temperatures in the voting machine warehouse on Chef Menteur Highway rose as the day wore on. With no air conditioning and just fans to circulate the air, one lady, Emily Becnel collapsed after taking a 'little spell.' She was helped from the building on a chair with wheels by poll worker Cindy Davis.
