March 6th,2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. Six months after hurricane Katrina devasted the Lower 9th Ward, recovery work, slow and sometimes grim, continues at what appears to be a snail's pace. A pile of women's finger nail paints lies where it came to rest in the rubble after spilling from their holder during the floods.
