March 6th,2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. Six months after hurricane Katrina devasted the Lower 9th Ward, recovery work, slow and sometimes grim, continues at what appears to be a snail's pace. A former kitchen knife lies in the dried mud amongst the ruins of the Lower 9th.
