Feb 23rd, 2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. The Krewe of Muses. Muses is the only all women's Krewe to parade in New Orleans and is known for its satire, famous shoe throws and is generally considered one of the most popular parades of the Mardi Gras. Women load up on their floats ready for the parade hanging beads on hooks, (including their famous glitter shoes) preparing the float ready to roll.
