Muses is the only all women's Krewe to parade in New Orleans and is known for its satire, famous shoe throws and is generally considered one of the most popular parades of the Mardi Gras. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is mobbed by the women of Muses. Women load up on their floats ready for the parade.
