RAM, Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps offers free medical help to the residents of this beleagured city from the site of the Audubon Institute Zoo. 1,500 people wait in the early morning sun to enter the free clinic. Many had started to line up at 4.00am to be sure of a place. At 8.00am the clinic had to close its list for the day, having reached 1,500 people.
